Tialisa Lynn Smith

Tialisa Lynn Smith, 46, of Oak Hill, WV died Friday, June 8, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of Georgia Cody Kelly and step-father, Edgar Kelly of Gatewood, and father, Herbert L. Smith of California. Born November 20, 1965 at New London, Connecticut on the Nuclear Submarine Base. She was a homemaker and a Christian, attended the Advent Christian Church at Gatewood when she was able and she was ready with God. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion James Scott Thombs of Oak Hill; two children, Crystal McGuire of Oak Hill and Kenny Elmore of Ansted; three brothers, William Lee, "PeeWee", Jess Edward, and Michael Lee Kelly, all of Gatewood; two nieces, Renae Smith and Ashley Kelly and one nephew, Brandon Kelly. Tialisa was preceded in death by a brother, David Wayne Smith. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Pauley officiating. Burial will follow at Bibb Cemetery, Gatewood. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday evening.
