Thomas Leon Mckinney

Thomas Leon McKinney , 71, of Cool Ridge, WV formerly of Fayetteville, WV died on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born February 08, 1939 at Scarbro, WV he was the son of the late Oter W. and Ida Mae Boyd McKinney. He was a retired Sales Manager for Ramey Auto of Beckley. Mr. McKinney was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Fayette Heights and was a US Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sue Swanigan McKinney; son, Thomas Todd McKinney and wife, Melanie of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Lura Ann Birge of Lakeland, FL; brother, Pat McKinney and wife, Joy of Hico and two grandchildren, Madison McKinney and Ian McKinney both of Beckley. Services will be on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Homein Oak Hill. with Rev. Justin Seay officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
