Thomas Wayne "Tom Cat" Lusk, 72, of Herndon Heights, entered the portals of Heaven on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife and family at home.
Born March 3, 1952, he was the son of the late Troy "Chief" Lusk and Lillian (Snyder) Lusk.
Tom retired as chief electrician of operations for Bluestone Industries with 21 years of service. He was a member of Salvation Through Christ Church and taught Bible study at Herndon Community Church, He was an avid fisherman and coon hunter, spending many hours on the water and in the woods with his brother and friends. Spending time with his grandchildren and great grandsons was the highlight of his day.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Albert.
Those left to cherish his memory include the love of his life, Ethel Tolliver Lusk; daughters, Angie (David) Griffith, Leigh (Andy) Hall, Becky (David) Boothe, and Libby (Kevin) Fann; son, Glen (Pam) McKinney and David Bishop who he loved as a son; grandchildren, Victoria (Brandon) Belcher, Zack (Michaela) Griffith, Olivia, Halee, and Noah Boothe, Conner and Emma Hall, Karly, Kennedy, and Thomas Fann, and Hunter McKinney; great grandsons, Mavrik and Kole Belcher and Carter Griffith; siblings, Roger (Freida) Lusk, Judy (Vince) Shumate, Connie Sparks, Sandra (Gary) Clark, Kathy (Mark) Hylton, Eva Lusk, and Peggy Lusk.
In keeping with Tom Cat's wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Salvation Through Christ Church in Princeton 311 1/2 Highland Avenue Princeton, WV 24740 with Brother Rev. Roger Lusk and Jimmy Roberts officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
