Thomas Lucian Jones Sr., 59, of Kincaid, WV died on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at his home in Kincaid, WV. Born October 17, 1944 he was the son of the late Hilary Herman Jones and Cynthia R. Matheney Jones Bailey and the stepson of the late Vernon L. Bailey. Mr. Jones was a retired master machinist for Phillips Electronics (formerly Dunlee Corp.) of Aurora, IL with 31 years service. He won awards for design and developement of an improved shanic adaptor for Z-beam tubes and also for developing a solid steel shank bearing housing. He won the Presidents Award for Quality in Leadership at his company in 1998. He had recently retired and moved back to his home state of West Virginia and was enjoying time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Green Jones; son, Thomas Lucian Jones, Jr. of Kincaid; five brothers, Ray (Dreama) Jones of Fayetteville, James (Faye) Jones of Haynes, VA, Paul (Janie) Jones of Rainelle, Hollie (Laura) Bailey of Kincaid, and Vernon (Donna) Bailey of Robson; four sisters, Jeanetta (Shirley) Wolfe of Page, Rosetta (Bob) Billings of Carter Park, IL, Loretta (Mike) Hambrick of Cross Lanes and Kathy (Floyd) Clay of Kincaid. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on thursday, April 15, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
