Theodore "Buck" Pemberton

Theodore "Buck" Matthew Pemberton, 76, of Lochgelly, WV died on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born January 04, 1928 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Floyd Dewey Pemberton, Sr. and Bessie Mae Dawson Pemberton. He was a retired Shuttle Car Operator for Central Appalachian Coal, Morris Creek, with 37 years service. Mr. Pemberton was a member of the UMWA, District 17, Local 9619. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Pauline Entsminger Pemberton; brothers, Pete Pemberton and Floyd Pemberton, Jr. Survivors include Daughters: Judy Huffman and husband, Mark, of Oak Hill Barbara Pounds of Mobile, AL Sons: James Theodore Pemberton and wife, Judith, of Cleveland, OH Henry Edward "Hank" Pemberton and fianee, Cindy Giles, of Oak Hill "Buckwheat" Pemberton of Oak Hill "Cheyenne" Pemberton of Oak Hill Butch Pounds of Mobile, AL Sisters: Pauline Toney of Scarbro Runt Pemberton of McCallister, OK Brother: Jerry Wayne Pemberton of Lochgelly 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, February 27, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Howard Miller officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
