Theodore R. Bailey, Jr.

Ted R. Bailey Jr., age 76, of Oak Hill, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born March 8, 1933, in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Theodore R. Bailey, Sr. and Lois Ashley Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a TV repairman having worked for National TV and Appliance. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Burns Bailey, and by two brothers, Robert Bailey, Sr., and Jimmy Bailey. Surviving are his son, Theodore R. Bailey, III, of Oak Hill; his daughter, Tonia Lynn Pennington of Middletown, Del. and two grandchildren, Madalyn Faye Pennington and Alexis Jo Pennington, both of Middletown, Del. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with the Rev. William Skeldon officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009.
