Theodore Watt Aranda

Theodore Watt Aranda, age 78 of Oak Hill, WV formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at his residence in Oak Hill Born November 29, 1931 at Carlisle, WV, he was the son of the late Jessie Rose and Cora E. Quick Aranda. Ted was a structural iron worker having worked for for Supervising Business Structures and a member of the Iron Workers Local #17 of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member oaf the Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Hill and was a US Army veteran having served in the Korean War having obtained the rank of Staff Sargent. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Carlene Bailey Aranda and by a daughter, Debra Elaine Aranda. Surviving are : His son, Theodore D. Aranda and his wife Diane of North Ridgeville, OH., his daughter, Patricia D. Miller and her husband, Robert D.of Berea, OH. Grandchildren, Tyler Douglas Aranda of North Ridgeville, OH., Peter Michael Conner of Oak Hill; John Norman Conner of Junction City, Kansas, Taylor Watt Aranda of North Ridgeville, OH., Patrick Sean Conner of Berea, OH., Anthony Kyle Aranda of North Ridgeville, OH., LeeAnna Marie Lopez of Cleveland, Ohio and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Janet Pencotty of Clifwood, NJ., one brother, Victor Aranda of Dublin, OH. Funeral will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, WV with the Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post # 3110 of Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 2:30-4:30 P.M and also from 6-9 P.M.
