Thelma Mae Settle Stover , 93, of Covington, VA formerly of Mossy, WV died on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at The Brian Center in Lowmoor, VA. Born July 31, 1920 at Sun, WV she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Cansie Aliff Settle. Mrs. Stover was a member of the Mossy Living Word Church. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Perry Gray Stover preceded her in death on February 25, 2013. She is survived by a loving family which includes a son, Roger Gray Stover and wife, Angela of Covington, VA and a sister, Catherine Wriston of Oak Hill. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Amanda Griffith and husband, Kevin of Covington, VA, Scott Schell of Concord, VA and Barry Schell of Covington, VA; six great grandchildren, Riley Griffith, Natalie Griffith, Wyatt Griffith, Mikey Hinkle, Brandon Schell and Josh Schell; special niece, Carol Ford of Scarbro as well as several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Paul Basham and Pastor Deb Washer officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
