Thelma T. Grose

Thelma Thelia Grose of Ansted, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Born January 25, 1917 in Fayette County, WV she was the daughter of the late James and Molly Dempsey Pike. Her husband of 51 years, James A. Grose, her brother, Emil and sisters, Nell, Vera, Stella, Virginia and Mary preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Larry Grose of Ansted, step-son, Kenneth Grose and wife, Jenny of Evansville, IN, grandchildren, Megan Grose of South Charleston and Bryan Grose and wife, Sarah of Mt. Airy, MD, daughter-in-law, Margaret Grose of Lansing, brother, Hilbert Pike of Ft. Pierce, FL and several beloved nieces and nephews. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She was a long-time member of the Ansted Baptist Church. Thelma will be missed and loved by all. A memorial service for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
