February 25, 1910 — March 31, 2005

Thelma Frances Mitchell Angle, 95, of Columbus, OH formerly of Mount Hope, WV passed away Thursday, March 31, 2005, in Columbus, OH. Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, WV with Rev. Bill Withers officiating. Friends may visit from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial park, Oak Hill, WV. There will be no graveside services. Thel was born February 25, 1910 in Hinton, WV, daughter of the late James and Myrtle Bryant Mitchell. In 1930 she married Lawrence Lee Angle. She was a resident of Mount Hope for over 60 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. "Mammaw" always had a good sense of humor and was known for her generous and caring spirit. The church was an important part of her life. She volunteered many hours at the Mount Hope Baptist Temple as a deaconess, Miriam Circle member, Sunday school teacher and choir member. She will also be remembered as one of the church members who watered the flower pots in front of the church on a regular basis - no job was too small. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Lawrence Angle, her son-in-law, C. Eugene Reese and a sister, Learline Furrow. Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Ann Angle Reese of Columbus, OH; granddaughters and their husbands, Terri and Galen Custer of Overland Park, KS and Sandy and Steve Maratea of Dublin, OH; grandson and his wife, Mark and Vanessa Reese of Santa Clara, Utah; and seven great grandchildren, Stacey Custer, Brandon Custer, Clayton Custer, Kate Maratea, Zach Reese, Kyle Reese and Logan Reese. Gone from our sight but not from our memory. Gone from our touch, but not from out hearts. You will live in our hearts forever...
