Terry Lee Shrout, 41, of Mount Hope, WV passed away at approximaely 2:00 am on Monday, April 19, 2004 at home in Derry Hale, WV. Terry fought a long illness with congestive heart failure and finally succumbed to the conditions he'd fought so hard. Born June 25, 1962 at Beckley, WV he was the son of Noel Dayton and Lillie Mae Roberts Shrout of Mount Hope. Terry attended the Mount Hope Wesleyan Church for some time and was saved on August 2, 2003 while being treated for one of the many difficulties from his heart condition. He was previously a member of the Cranberry Community Church of Cranberry, WV. As many know, Terry loved his family, reading his Bible, archery, 4-wheeling, hunting, fishing, collecting Case XX knives and being the stand around guy to talk to at Dan's Quick Stop of Mount Hope. Prior to the onset of his heart condition, he was an employee of ten years at Brownies Moving Service in Beckley. Terry Lee Shrout was a very loving son, brother and friend to all and will be deeply missed. Those who knew him, knows that the world lost an awsome person and heaven gained an incredible angel. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert (Bob) Roberts and Demple Roberts Shrout and Edward Shrout; paternal grandparents, Ophilia and Buckner Shrout; and by a nephew, Jereme Edward Shrout. Other survivor include brothers, Noel Edward (Donna Sue) Shrout of Mount Hope and Brian Scott Shrout and fiancee, Lisa Ann Buchanan, and sons, serving with the US Army in Denver, CO; niece, Brittany Dawn Rice of Oak Hill; nephews, Ricky G. Allan and daughter, Abigail, of Beckley and Travis L. (Rachel) Shrout of Mount Hope; close family friends, Norma Menei, Mary D'Angelo and Josephine Lafferty and many more dear friends. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, April 22, 2004, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Richard Midkiff and Rev. Roger Pauley officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
