Sylvia Aretta Scarbro

Sylvia Aretta Stover Scarbro, 76 of Scarbro, WV, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV following a short illness.
Born August 13, 1938 at Mossy, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Martha Aliff Stover.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Eddie Scarbro and two sisters, Rushie Stover and Flossie Anders.
Sylvia was a manager at Morton Travel Plaza and was a member of Mossy Living Word Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert Scarbro and companion Dee Dee Carr of Scarbro; one daughter, Cindy Broadway and husband Robert of Scarbro; one brother, Cecil Stover of Oak Hill, four sisters: Lillian Treadway of East Windsor, NJ, Roberta Stover of Scarbro, Judy Rakes and husband Boone of Shelby, NC and Sharon Woodson of Oak Hill. Three grandchildren , Aden Scarbro of Oak Hill, Alayna Scarbro of Mossy and Brian Scarbro and companion Tricia Evans of Oak Hill, nieces Brenna and Stacy Thomas, both of Oak Hill along with several additional nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Pastor Paul Basham officiating. Burial will follow at Rinehart Cemetery, Mossy, WV. Friends may call from 6 til 8 P.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV.
