Sylvia Marie Holliday Jarvis , 96, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born April 09, 1916 at Graydon, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Clara Parrish Holliday. Mrs. Jarvis was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill. She was a homemaker. Her husband, August Jarvis, son, Joe Anderson Jarvis and two daughters, Mary Lou Jarvis and Anne Jarvis preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, David Jarvis of Muncie, IN and a daughter, Janet Jarvis of Oak Hill Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 123 Elmore Street, Oak Hill, WV with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill from 6-8 PM on Sunday, October 21, 2012 where a vigil prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
