Sylvia Ann Frazier Quesenberry, age 84, of Oak Hill, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 surrounded by the family that she deeply loved and loved her in return.
Born December 19, 1927 in Giles County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Barnes Frazier.
She was preceded in death by her only son, Rodney Quesenberry and by a son-in-law, Jerry Epperly.
Sylvia was faithfully married to Claud Quesenberry of Oak Hill for 69 years.
Sylvia is survived by her life time companion, Claud Quesenberry and by her two daughters Judy Epperly of Oak Hill and Joyce Cobb and husband, Mike of Oak Hill, WV.
Sylvia was a proud and loving grandmother of six grandchildren, Paula and her husband Charles, Tami and her husband Benny, Lee, Claudia and her husband Ted, Heather and her husband Raymond and Michael and his wife Molly along with thirteen great grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Charley, Philip, Peyton, Mikel, Chase, Michele, Jacob, Justin, Hannah and Jon Michael, Teddy and eleven great great grandchildren, Cadence, Cooper, Kelsie, Alexis, Makayla, Tyler, Caden, Rylee, Madaline, MaKinzy and Madison.
She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
Sylvia retired from Heck's department Store as a department manager in 1985.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Pastor Ken Souder and Rev. Ralph Shupe officiating. Entombment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Friday, June 15, 2012.
Lee Lafferty, Chase Lafferty, Jacob Lafferty, Teddy Kania, Bennie Adkins and Michael Cobb will sere as pallbearers.
