Sylvia Swanigan Bryant

Sylvia Swanigan Bryant, 81, of Sarahsville OH, passed away Friday, February 25, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. Born May 6, 1929 in Gatewood, WV she was the daughter of the late William H. and Laura (Presnell) Swanigan. She married Chester Bryant on April 10, 1949. Sylvia was a homemaker a proficient quilter enjoyed spending time with her family. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, her son, Gerald, seven brothers, Richard Swanigan, Galen Swanigan, Leonard Swanigan, Roscoe Swanigan, Roy Swanigan, Lester Swanigan and Ernest Swanigan, and one sister, Virgia Swanigan Coleman. Sylvia will be deeply missed by her children Jeanette (Richard) Zimmerman of Sarahsville Oh, Chester Bryant of Akron Oh, Janie (Steve) Hugart of Orlando Fl, Sam (Mary) Bryant of Akron Oh, eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 3 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Road, Wadsworth, OH. Funeral services will follow at 3 P.M. at the funeral home.
