Suzann Smith

Suzann Hamrick Smith, 57, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, October 31, 2005 at her home. Born November 23, 1947 at Powellton Hollow, Montgomery, WV she was the daughter of the late Opie and Hazel Hartwell Hamrick. She was a disabled Dietitian for Beckley ARH and of the Pentacostal faith. Three brothers, Donnie Ray, Jerry Lawrence and Jackie Lee Hamrick preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, Gene A. Smith; one son, Anthony John Smith of Oak Hill, WV; brother, Jimmy Hamrick of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Gloria Thomas of Oak Hill, WV; a granddaughter, Carley Beth Smith of Ansted, WV and two step grandchildren, Brandon and Cassy Moorehead of Ansted, WV. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2005 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2005 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Ronnie Persinger and Rev. Jimmy Hamrick officiating burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV.
