Susan Mae Gilkerson James , 70, of Kilsyth, WV died on Wednesday, October 08, 2014 at her home.
Born December 17, 1943 at Montgomery, WV she was the daughter of the late Meredith "Bud" and Eilene Johnson Gilkerson.
Susan was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at Raleigh General Hospital and Plateau Medical Center. She was a member of the Mount Hope First Church of God.
A brother, Walter "Buddy" Gilkerson preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Warwick of Mount Hope; two daughters, Robin Ramos and companion, Scott Snell of Gautier, Miss and Angie Keffer and husband, Steve of Pax; sister, Pam Keaton and husband, Dan of Trophy Club, TX; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the Mount Hope First Church of God with Rev. Ronnie Stapleton officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. She will be cremated following the service.
