Sonjia H. Schoolcraft Wolfe, age 73, of Kincaid, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at her residence.
Born December 31, 1940, at Montgomery, WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Cindy Hackney Schoolcraft.
Sonjia was a mother and homemaker and a member of the Loop Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Lee Carper, by two brothers, Ezra Schoolcraft and Hestel Schoolcraft and by a sister, Beulah Dorman.
Surviving are her son, Jimmy C. Carper of Kincaid, her daughters, Melissa Ann Wolfe Richards and her husband Thomas of Surveyor and Debbie Wolfe of Texas; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Wanda Adkins of Oak Hill, Jenny Sanders of Smithers, Patty Muncey of Montgomery, Bobbie Backus of Mt. Nebo, “Chuck” Townsend of Summersville and Henrietta Snodgrass of Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with Rev. Ronnie Persinger officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
