Sona Pack

Sona Clara Bennett Pack, 82, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born March 17, 1923 at Abraham, WV she was the daughter of the late David and Effie Smith Bennett. Mrs. Pack was a member of the Nimitz Baptist Church, Nimitz, WV and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah W. Pack; six brothers, Orel, Orda, Kyle, Noah, Earl and Edward Bennett; three sisters, Stella Adkins, Ruth Pack and Dexter Plumley. Survivors include one son, Benny Pack of Oak Hill, WV; three brothers, Carl Bennett and John Bennett both of Beckley, WV and Omer Bennett of Ohio and by one granddaughter, Christy Dawn Pack of Oak Hill, WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Saturday, July 2, 2005, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, July 3, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Burnett officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
