Solomon Lewis Hudson, 84 of Fayetteville, WV died February 27, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.
Born January 15, 1931 at Fayetteville, he was the son of the late Roy and Arkansas Burke Hudson.
He was retired from General Motors Pontiac Division as a supervisor of the sheet metal division, attended Loop Creek Baptist Church and was U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Elena Josephine Hudson; eight sons, Timothy and Roy Hudson of Mesa, AZ, Larry Hudson of Meatamore, MI, Jeff and James Hudson of Lake Orin, MI, William Hudson of Clarkston MI, Mark Hudson of Almont, MI and Jeff Allen Westlake of Ashland KY; four daughters, Diana Carmack of Lepeer,MI, Kathy Smith of Hollet, MI, Sherry Wade of Rochester, MI and Cheryl Walters of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Laura Johnson of Thompsonville, IL and Brenda Burke of Lincoln Park, MI; 27 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Ron Persinger officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. till time of service. Burial will be in Kentucky at a later date.
