Sisroe Kuhn

Sisroe Kuhn, 87 years old, of Warren, OH formerly of Rock Lick, WV, died, Monday, July 6, 2009 at 7:35 PM at Community Skilled Nursing Centre. He was born October 23, 1921 in Minden, WV, the son of the late Ulysses S. and Margaret Kincaid Kuhn. Sisroe worked as a coal miner from the age of 16 until 1959. He retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital where he had worked as a foreman in the laundry department as well as maintenance. Mr. Kuhn was a member of the Newton Falls General Assembly of God Church where he served as a Deacon. He was in the CCC in Bozeman, Montana. His wife of 54 years, the former Mildred Ann Reynolds, whom he married on December 1, 1945, preceded him in death on September 29, 2000. Survivors include his daughter, Brenda (Robert) Salmon of Leavittsburg and his son, Roger D. Kuhn of Braceville; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; one sister, Bertie McKinney of Huntington, West Virginia and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Leatha Reynolds of Hico, West Virginia. Other than his parents and his wife, one daughter, Dreama Kuhn, two sisters, Loretta Ombler and Nona Thurman and six brothers, Francis; Ralph; Craver; Monroe, Jon and Charles preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Avenue, Warren Avenue, Warren, OH on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11AM with Pastor Mitch Meadors officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2009, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
