Shirley Stapleton

Shirley Ann Dunn Stapleton, 68, of Rt 1 Fayetteville, WV died on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV following a sudden illness. Born June 29, 1935 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Ezzie Huston and Orpha Saunders Dunn. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Stapleton was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Stapleton; son, Clarence Kevin Stapleton; sisters, Viola Cannaday, Ruby Wilshire, Helen Blake and Florence Minnich. Survivors include daughters, Orpha Sue Neff and Linda Ann (Steve) Rogers all of Oak Hill and by 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, June 19, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Sunday, June 20, 2004, at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene in Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
