Shirley Ann Mays Pittman , 78, of Bradley, WV died on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born March 15, 1936 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Sadie Merritt Mays.
Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bradley. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Ann Buckland; sister, Jean Angel and brother, Jack Mays.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Pittman, Jr.; two sons, Carl Keith Pittman and wife, Mindi, and David Mark Pittman and wife, Tammy; three daughters, Pamela McMillion and husband, Pat, Deborah Blevins and husband, Joe and Janice Cobb and husband, Tommy; son-in-law, Ray Buckland; one brother, Dewey Mays; three sisters, Mildred North, Betty Phillips and Sharron Rhodes; and ten grandchildren.
Graveside rites and committal service will be on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with eulogy by family members. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
