Shirley Mae Miller , 65, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, July 01, 2015 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born May 01, 1950 at Fayetteville, WV she was the daughter of the late George VanBuren and Mary Francis Adkins Miller.
Shirley was a member of the Daystar Worship Center and a former member of the Glen Jean Church of God. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Tipton; second husband, Lucian Adkins; son, William David Adkins; brother, William Miller; sister, Betty Kelly and great granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Ficke.
Survivors include seven daughters, Theresa (William) Buck of Oak Hill, Charlotte (John) Jones of Fayetteville, Sherry Tipton of Oak Hill, Rachel (Larry) Henderson of Rush, KY, Misty (Virgil) McCallister of Oak Hill, Francis (James Estep) Adkins of Oak Hill and Rebacce (William) Arnett of Oak Hill; sisters, Nancy Hall of Henderson, NC, Ann Kelly of Fayetteville, Bonnie Hughes of Carson City, NV, Cara Thomas of Oak Hill and Karen Pleasanton of Tenn.; brothers, George VanBuren Miller, Jr. of Frankfort, KY and Johnny Miller of GA; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service and time of remembrance will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Daystar Worship Center at Kilsyth with Pastor Larry Humphrey officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Tyree Funeral Home, 999 Jones Avenue, Oak Hill, WV 25901 to assist with funeral expenses.
