Shirley Ann Lies

Shirley Ann (Bess) Lies, 89, of of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Montgomery General Elderly Care, Montgomery. 

Born March 14, 1935 at Glen Jean, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Dora (Howard) Bess. 

Shirley was a retired nurses aid.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Lies; second husband, Harold Garrett; and her two sons, Mitchell and Joseph Lies. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her five sons, Steve, Bryan, John, Kelly, and Matthew Lies; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 26, 2024 at Huse Memorial, Fayetteville. 

For those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
