Mama's Love
Mama's love; deep and strong, so gentle when we're hurting, so firm when we've done wrong. She encourages us to do our best, and she's there to comfort if we fail the test. She never pushes, just gently leads; it's strange how she seems to know our needs. She's there to wipe away all tears, she knows the words to ease our fears. No sacrifice is too big to make - if she knows it's for her children's sake. Her beautiful face is so tender and mild, but she'd fight a tiger if he touched her child. She pulls us together and binds us with love; then entrusts our keeping to our Father above. I think God's love must flow through a mother to teach us how to love one another; to teach us sharing, caring, forgiving, things that make life really worth living. I know God's love. There's no greater than this. But Mama's love must be second to His.
