Shirley Carr

Shirley Ann Cody Carr, 61, of Fayetteville, WV died on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born January 27, 1942 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Carrie Mae Moore Cody. She was a homemaker and a former Nursing Assistant for Hilltop Center. Mrs. Carr was a member of the Calvin Advent Christian Church, Gatewood, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Carr on May 16, 1985 and a sister, Betty Jones Survivors include her companion, Sam Jones and his children, Lorie Stanley, Caroline and Nancy and grandchildren Daughters: Carrie Flowers of Mount Hope April Kincaid of Oak Hill Brothers: Elmer Ray Cody of Oak Hill James William Cody of Vermillion, OH Sisters: Cheryl Jane Suttle of The Colony, TX Karen Kay Morton of Lizemores Sharon Faye Morton of Elyria, OH Grandson: Joey Carr Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm Services will be on Saturday, June 7, 2003, at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Rev. C.D. Summers will be officiating. Burial will be at Bibb Cemetery., Gatewood, WV
