Sheryl J. Blevins-Worstell

Sheryl Jean Blevins-Worstell , 63, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, May 17, 2010 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born August 06, 1946 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Forest and Maxine Mildred Frame Worstell. Sheryl was a 1964 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. She was a life-long member of the Oak Hill Gospel Tabernacle. Active in the antique community, Sheryl was a vendor at the Old Fort Antique Mall in Wytheville, VA; had been the manager for Carpetbaggers in Oak Hill and was currently the manager of New River Antique Mall in Fayetteville. She loved collecting and restoring antique dolls and collecting toys and holiday items - especially Easter and Christmas. She was very active in Yesterdays Treasurers Doll Club having been an officer and helped arrange several local doll shows. Sheryl loved going to the beach, listening to 70's music, caring for her plants and pets and will be greatly missed by her little dog "Tiny." Survivors include her son, Billie Forest Blevins and wife, Suzan of Oak Hill, companion of 17 years, Thearn H. "T.H." Ellis, Jr. of Beckley and a sister, Joyce Taylor of Smithers. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Savannah Blevins of Oak Hill; step grandson, Eric Barrett, II of Oak Hill; nephew, John Taylor, III of Smithers; great nephew, John "J.T." Taylor, IV of Smithers and god-child, Josette Settle Smith of Oak Hill. Services will be on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Rev. Allen Gallimore officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Eric Barrett, II, Bobby Wardrup, Tony Pearson, Ben Vicars and James Frame will serve as pallbearers.
