Shelba Jean Aliff, 67, of Rt. 1, Scarbro, died Friday, January 20, 2006 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill after a long illness. She was born May 18, 1938 at Kingston, WV, a daughter of the late Haden and Beaulah Wills Aliff. She was retired from the FBI with 30 years of service and was a member of the Mossy Living Word Church. She is survived by one brother, Mark Aliff and his wife, Kathleen of Mossy; one sister, Shirley Coots and her husband, James of Columbus, OH; nephews, Brad Aliff of Oak Hill, James R. Coots of Canvas, and Darrel Coots of Pleasantville, OH; one niece, Teresa Paoletta of Carma, OH. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 23 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with the Rev. Paul Basham officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
