Sharon Joyce Kelly

Sharon Joyce Kelly, 54, of Minden, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Born December 19, 1953 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of Clifford Parsons of Clay County and the late Betty Anderson Parsons. Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker and a member of the Rock Lick Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her father include, her husband, Joseph A. Kelly; two sons, Joseph A. Kelly, Jr., Huntington, and John Anthony Kelly, at home; one sister, Sue Workman, Oak Hill; one brother, Tom Parsons, Myrtle Beach, SC; several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Jerry Sears officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
