Scott Allen Evans, 33, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born December 25, 1975 at Beckley, WV he was the son of Elmer Gordon and Wilma Maxine Minor Evans of Oak Hill. Scott attended the Pentecostal church. Two brothers, Larry Rice and Ronnie Rice preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by nine sisters, Sandra Arrington of Summersville, Beverly Toney of Knightdale, NC, Janet Forren of Oak Hill, Melanie Miller of Oak Hill, Trena Thomas of Minden, Angel Grishaber of Charlotte, NC, Tammy Jones of Minden, Christy Thomas of Oak Hill and Michelle Evans of Oak Hill and four brothers, Richard Rice of Princeton, KY, Billy Rice of Wichita, KS, Steven Rice of Weatherford, TX and Daniels Evans of Mossy. Services will be on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Paul Basham officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
