Sarah Josephine Kidd

Sarah Josephine Cobb Kidd, 90, of Mount Hope, WV died on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Mary in Beckley, WV. Born March 08, 1920 at Flat Top, WV she was the daughter of the late Meredith Lawrence Cobb, Sr. and Letha Green Cobb. Mrs. Kidd was a member of the Mount Hope First Church of God and was a homemaker. She resided in Longacre for many years and then later in Pax. Her husband, John Henry Kidd preceded her in death. She was much loved and will be missed by her family, Mary Terry and Johnathan Terry, Charles Tweedie, Charles Ellis, sister-in-law, Margrett Cobb, Marlin and Elaine Cobb, Billy Cobb, Marlin John Cobb, Charles Terry, Danny Terry, Jason Terry, Carl Terry, James Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCoy and sons; Betty Aurther and sons; Phyllis Nutter and daughters as well as great nieces and nephews. Services will be on March 15, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Wallace York officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. John Terry, Chuck Ellis, Charles Tweedie, Eric Boggs, Marlin Cobb and John Cobb will serve as pallbearers.
