Sandra Kay Wingrove

Sandra Kay Wingrove, 75, of Mt. Hope WV, gained her angel wings on Thursday October 19th, 2023 following a long illness.

 

Born September 15, 1948, in Piney View WV, she was the daughter of the late Horace Jerome McDaniel and Agnes Connor McDaniel.

 

Sandra was a loving wife, mother, granny and sister. She would have celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary this December with the love of her life, Wayne Wingrove. She was of Christian Faith and a member of the Carlisle First Church of God. Sandra was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Sisters; Margaret Ann McDaniel, Lois Meade and Betty Snodgrass. Brothers; Harold McDaniel, Jerry McDaniel, Gary McDaniel, and Jeff McDaniel. Father-in-law Willis Wingrove and Mother-in-law Betty Wingrove.

 

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband Wayne Wingrove; son Gary Wingrove Jr (Jessica); daughter Amanda Wilson (Johnny); grandchildren Blake Wingrove, Katie Kees (Eli), Madison Wingrove, John Wilson and Andrew Wingrove.  Sisters; Etta Meadows (Pete), Patty Fox (Wayne). Brothers; Billy McDaniel (Ellie), Darrell McDaniel (Dreama). Sister-in-laws; Sharon Key (Tom), Geneva Bailey, Sherry Abshire and Vanessa Haddock. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

 

In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, she will be cremated. A private graveside ceremony will be held at Doc Lively Cemetery in Long Branch WV at a later date.
