Ruth Beatrice Suzza

Ruth Beatrice Romage Tucker Suzza, 99,  born on December 15, 1923 in Layland, WV to her parents Martin and Willie Claxton Romage went home to be with our Lord on August 2, 2023.

 

Ruth was preceded in death by her husbands Billy Robert Tucker (deceased 1964) and Manuel Suzza Jr (deceased 2007).

 

Ruth had 5 children. 2 sons; Robert L Tucker(deceased 2012) (wife Saundra) of Oak Hill WV and Manuel “Jack” Suzza (wife Cami) of Fayetteville WV; and 3 daughters; Donna Thomas (husband Kenneth deceased 2020) of Charleston, WV; Ruth Ann Holt (husband Ed deceased 2013) of Fayetteville, WV; and Patricia Nutter  (Larry) of Oak Hill, WV.

 

Ruth’s legacy also includes 18 grandchildren;  39 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.

 

Grandchildren; Zachary Suzza(wife Kara) of Newark,DE; Jonathan Suzza(wife Le’Andrea) of Hilltop WV; Nickolas Suzza of Fayetteville WV;Denise Wood (husband Scott) of Charleston WV; Ronald Hicks of Charleston WV; Wade Thomas(wife Michelle) of Charleston WV;  Wayne Thomas of Belle WV; Robin Thomas of Atlanta Ga; Robert Thomas (wife Chris of Melbourne FL; Billy Tucker (wife Evelyn) of Oak Hill WV; Christopher Tucker (wife Danielle) of Oak Hill WV; Tricia Jeffries (husband Jimmy) of Charleston WV; Artie Tucker of Charleston WV; Johnny Tucker of Charleston WV; Johnny Brown of Oak Hill WV; Kim Kupec (husband Justin) of Morgantown WV; Tara Holt of Myrtle Beach SC; Leah Gillespie(husband Billy) of Havelock NC

 

Ruth had 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Her sister Patricia Tankersley of Pataskala OH and brother Roger Romage of Beckley WV survive her.

 

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, August 12th at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 2150 Pea Ridge Road, Oak Hill, WV 25901
