Ruth A. Smith Warden

Ruth Anne Collins Smith Warden, 95, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, April 02, 2005 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV. Born July 08, 1909 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Ottie Budd and Dorothy Anne Scott Collins. A life long resident of Fayette County, Ruth was formerly employed at the Whipple Company Store and for Cohen Drug, Oak Hill. Mrs. Warden was a member of the Oak Hill Chapter 107 O.E.S. She was preceded in death by her first husband, French R. Smith; second husband, Henry Warden; daughter, Ruth Anne Smith Evans; three brothers, Elbert, Ottie and George Collins and two sisters, Irene Wright and Dorothy Gunsky Titlow Volz. Survivors include three grandchildren, Walter Keaton of Florida, Jacqueline Carswell and Russell Keaton both of Georgia and a great granddaughter, Morgan Carswell. Graveside rites and committal will be on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
