Ruth Martin Carl

Ruth Lea Martin Carl, 81, of Route 1, Fayetteville, WV died at the home of her caregiver on Saturday, December 23, 2006. Born January 8, 1925 at Dusk Camp, Gilmer County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Dodson Luzader and Floreed Allen Luzader. She was the retired owner of Martin Furniture in Oak Hill, a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Eastern Star #107, Oak Hill, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Beckley; Past mother advisor of the Rainbow Girls, past officer of the Eastern Star and past worthy high priestess of Judea Shrine #13, White Shrine of Jerusalem. Survivors include her husband, Frederick C. Carl, two sons, William "Bill" Gene Martin and wife, Connie of Deland, Florida and Bobby Joe Martin and wife, Pamela of Hurricane, WV; two grandchildren, Stephanie Martin Curran and Douglas Martin; two great grandchildren, Sarah Curran and Joseph Curran; one niece, Jo Ann Luzader. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Wednesday at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 10 AM until 11 AM at the funeral home on Wednesday.
