Ruth Deal Brown

Mrs. Ruth Glenna Deal Brown, 80, of Middlesex, NC, died Friday, August 5, 2011 at her home. Born January 25, 1931 at Willis Branch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Abbie and Hazel Howard Deal. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ewing Creek Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Claudie French Brown on August 11, 2009; one daughter, Pamela S. Brown. Survivors include four sons, James Brown, Fairdale, WV, Ricky Brown, Newport News, VA, Tommy Brown, Raleigh, NC, and Barry Brown, Thomasville, NC; one daughter, Brenda Farley and son-in-law, Hal Igelman, Middlesex, NC; four brothers, Ron Deal, Maple Fork, Jackie Deal, Oak Hill, Charles Deal, Beckley, and Kenneth Deal, Daytona Beach, FL; three sisters, Pat Deal Young, Beckley, Bonnie Deal, Manchester, NH, and Mary Alice Deal Cox, Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Loretta Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Pax Community Cemetery.
