Ruth Mcnulty Bays

Ruth Faye McNulty Bays, 90, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, November 02, 2009 at her home. Born August 06, 1919 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Warner Gradon and Gertrude Burgess McNulty. Mrs. Bays was a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Society. She attended Oak Hill High School. Her husband of 72 years, Harry B. Bays preceded her in death on November 15, 2007. Two brothers, Warner McNulty and Herbert McNulty and two sisters, Madge Colburn and Margaret Mitchell also preceded her. . Survivors include one son, John Edward Bays and wife, Theresa of Hutchinson, KS; two daughters, Mary Sue Woodson and husband, Larry of Willowick, OH and Janet Gay Rehage and husband, Don of Kenner, LA; two sisters, June Hawks and husband, Don of Ogden, Utah and Joyce Chambers and husband, James of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
