Ruth Alma Fisher Rider , 89, of Mooresville, NC formerly of Fayetteville, WV died on Saturday, October 04, 2014 at Mooresville Center - Genesis Health Care in Mooresville, NC.
Born April 5, 1925 at Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late William Paul and Lillie Mae Fitzpatrick Fisher.
Ruth was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker.
Three brothers, Charles W. Fisher, William Paul Fisher, Jr. and Roy Jackson Fisher and two sisters, Thelma Kathleen Piotrowski and Ida Leona Kessler preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, William Thurl Rider, Sr.; one son, William T. Rider, Jr. of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Christine Carol Jones of Oak Hill and Mary Alice Fisher of Mooresville, NC; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, October 8, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
