Russell E. Morrison

Russell E. Morrison, 83, of Prudence, WV died on Monday, October 22, 2007 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 19, 1924 at Thurmond, WV he was the son of the late George and Stella Shipley Morrison. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Harvey United Methodist Church, WV. He was retired from Cabot Gas. One sister, Pearl Ruff and four brothers, Alby Morrison, Raymond Morrison, Jim Morrison and Tom Morrison preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Louise Rita Kochinski Morrison; two daughters, Linda Morrison and Carolyn Ogle both of Oak Hill, WV; a great nephew, Billy Suttle of Prudence, WV whom he raised; one granddaughter, Courtney of Oak Hill and one great granddaughter, Cassidy Bailey also of Oak Hill. Services will be on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
