Ruby E. Stonestreet

Ruby Evelyn Lilly Stonestreet, 90, of Robson, WV died on Monday, October 20, 2008 at Montgomery General Hospital in Montgomery, WV. Born January 19, 1918 at Robson, WV she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Rollins Lilly. Mrs. Stonestreet was a member of the Church of Christ at Robson. She was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew Stonestreet on December 11, 1990; two brothers, George Lilly and Bill Lilly; two sisters, Zella Settle and Elvie Taylor; step-brother, John Lilly and two sons-in-law, Joe Gallo and Bill Rader. Survivors include daughters, Bobbie Gallo of Paden City, WV, Dorothy "Dot" Cobb and husband, Delbert of Kincaid and Iris Rader of Oak Hill; on son, Johnny "Stoney" Stonestreet and wife, Rebecca of Oak Hill and one sister, Alma Hurley of Elkhart, IN. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Helen Lilly of Robson, Martha Angel, whom she considered as a daughter, eleven grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren as well as a host of friends and neighbors. Services will be on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
