Ruby G. Cox

Ruby "Tots" G. Evans Cox, 64, of Minden, WV died on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born October 25, 1941 at Ingram Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Garnett Toney Evans. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Holiness faith. She was a homemaker. A son, Elmer R. Evans and a daughter, Carmella Sue Sullivan preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, Frank A. Cox; three sons, Michael Smith of Florida City, FL, Jack Smith of Minden, WV and John Smith of Oak Hill, WV; one daughter, Billie Jean Remy of Oak Hill, WV; two brothers, Elmer G. Evans of Oak Hill, WV and Gene Evans of Sanger, WV; four sisters, Shirley Byrd of Summerlee, WV, Betty Byrd of Fayetteville, WV, Hazel Roman of Bradley, WV and Dorothy Settle of Mossy, WV; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV. Steven Angius, Gary Stover, Mitchell Stover, Robert Admov, Dean Gamble and Brian Black will serve as pallbearers.
