Ruby Duncan

Ruby Truman Duncan, 90, of Clayton, NC formerly of Oak Hill, WV went to b with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC following a long illness. Born May 13, 1915 in Clay County, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Davis Truman. Mrs. Duncan was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill, WV and a homemaker. Her loving husband, Ishmael Vernon Duncan preceded her in death on March 13, 1993. She was also preceded by four sisters, Velma, Thelma, Goldie and Violet and three brothers, Don, Charles, Jr. and Crawford. Ruby was a very loving Christian mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Stump and husband, Michael, of Clayton, NC; one brother, Homer Truman of Leesville, GA; two grandchildren, Kristie Newton and Kevin Stump and wife, Amanda and two great great grandchildren, Matthew Taylor Newton and Logan Duncan Stump all of Clayton, NC and by several nieces and nephews Visitation will be held at Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill, WV on Monday, March 27, 2006, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Services will be on Monday, March 27, 2006, at 1:00 P.M. at Church of the Nazarene in Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
