Ruby Ann Harrison Scarbrough , 72, of Shady Spring, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born January 16, 1942 at Clifton Forge, VA she was the daughter of the late William Alexander and Ruby Irene Van Buren Harrison.
She was a homemaker and a Christian.
A brother, Bill Harrison and a sister, Jane preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, James Edsel Scarbrough; children, Wayne Harrison of Shady Spring, Stuart Harrison and wife, Jennifer of York, PA, Wanda Hough of Shady Spring, Elizabeth Scarbrough of Beckley, Lisa Griffith of Eccles and James Scarbrough, Jr. and wife, Cara of Fort Lee, VA; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ewing Creek Community Church with Rev. Dwayne Williams officiating. Burial will be at Ewing Creek Cemetery, Ewing Creek. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
