Roy James Yates , 80, of Minden, WV died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at his home. Born December 02, 1929 in Virginia he was the son of the late Leroy and Gladys Boyd Yates. Survivors include two sons, Gary Wayne Yates of Cowen and Roy James Yates, Jr.; daughter, Rena Yates of Florida; brother, Billy Joe Yates of Rock Lick and a sister, Myrtle Francks of Rock Lick.
