Roy Walter Pugh

Roy Walter Pugh, 72, of Oak Hill passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 a CAMC Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.

Born March 13, 1952 in Layland, WV he was the son of the late Roland and Lillian Smith Pugh.

Roy retired from Med West Fayco Paper Factory in Virginia and Sara Lee in North Carolina and in his leisure he enjoyed reading, being outside in his garden, making sure his yard was kept up clean, playing with his cat Morris, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by step sons, Richard and Michael; sister, June; and brother, Roger.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife, Susie Worley-Jenkins; daughter, Debra Hundley; grandchildren, Jessica Pugh and companion Jacob Beaver, Emily Heatherly (Jordan), Carly Hundley and companion Matthew Fray, Teah Elkins (Christopher), and Brianna Hundley; great grandson, Dean Elkins; step children, Lori and Andrew; multiple step grandchildren; sister, Jewel, Joe, Joyce, and Judy; and brothers, Richard, Chris, and Randy.

Funeral service will be 12 Noon Friday, November, 1, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill. 

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
