Roy Lee Duncan

Roy Lee Duncan , 85, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, April 08, 2013 at Arbors Nursing Home in Gallipolis, OH. Born July 22, 1927 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Callie Walden "C.W." and Viola Blake Duncan. Roy was a retired coal miner. He was a former Oak Hill police officer, former member of the Oak Hill Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the UMWA. He was a World War II US Navy veteran. Survivors include a sister, Emma Duncan and numerous cousins. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Rev. Shirley Watson officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
