Roy E. Daniels

Roy Eugene Daniels, 61, of Bradley, WV died on Monday, January 03, 2005 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born January 04, 1943 at Oswald, WV he was the son of the late Robert Dawson Daniels and Allie Delp Daniels Tincher. He was a disabled coal miner. Roy was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Delbert Daniels and a sister, Naomi Ruth Williams. Survivors include his wife, Reta Jane Burke Daniels; seven sons: Robert Curtis Daniels and wife, Gina, of Sand Branch, Stephen Eugene Daniels and wife, Christina, of Crab Orchard, Jonathan Mark Daniels and companion, Megan Helmick, of Mabscott, David Allen Daniels of Bradley, Timothy Daniels, Johnny Daniels and Mark Daniels all of Emmitsburg, MD, brothers: Clarence Daniels of Stanaford, James D. Daniels of Beckley and Charles Daniels of Surveyor; sister: Lena Harrah of Stanaford; 9 grandchildren: Scott Daniels; Andy, Alex and Adam Daniels; Jasmine and Baby Boy Daniels; and Mark, Crista and Drew aniels. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeal Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, January 6, 2005, from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Services will be on Thursday, January 6, 2005, at 7:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, in Mount Hope with Rev. Jimmy Mitchell officiating. He will be cremated following the services.
