Rosalie Mann

Rosalie Harvey Mann, 88, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, January 03, 2005 at Springfield Center in Lindside, WV following a long illness. Born July 09, 1916 at Wikle, Monroe County, WV she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ollie Garten Harvey. Mrs. Mann was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV, Shirley Donnally Bible Class and the Retired Fayette County School Teachers Association. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and Concord College and a retired teacher from the Fayette County Board of Education having taught at Collins Middle School, Oak Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Archie Mann, Jr.; a brother, James Harvey and a sister, Bernice Harvey. Survivors include a nephew, A.J. Harvey and wife, Phyllis of Clayton, NC; two nieces, Lily Harvey of Blacksburg, VA and Katy Harvey of Roanoke, VA; one great nephew, Ariel Harvey of Clayton, NC. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, January 6, 2005, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. David White officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
