Rosa Goble Wroten

Rosa Goble Wroten, age 95, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born September 24, 1916 at Winfield, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Sylvinia Deal Goble. Rosa was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Gospel Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Wroten, by a son Frank and by two sisters, Violet Rice and Mable Hines. Surviving are her son, John Wroten of Oak Hill, WV, her three daughters, Jackline Browning and her husband Charles of Scott Depot, WV, Brenda Mayfield of Leesburg, FL and Gaynell Tolley and her husband John of Fayetteville, WV, one sister, Gaynell Linkfield of Leesburg, FL. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Eric Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Hurricane, WV.
